How is little Cameron 2 months already?!

We love you so much little Cameron- your smiles melt our heart.  

Things you love at 2 months

* Bath Time you just kick and splash

* Playing your piano on you play mat

* Going for walks with mommy and Tillery

* Rocking and swinging

* Daddy's voice and him holding you

* Eating- you weighed 13 pounds 12 ounces at your 2 month apt! Healthy growing boy!

Trip to WV

Grandma Bunny and I packed the car (Please Note: barely room for us due to the baby gear)  and headed to West Virginia for Cameron to meet his Great Nan Nan and Paw Paw.  We were able to spend 3 nights with them which was wonderful- such a special visit for them and us.

Rewind

But I was looking through pictures today...and I can hardly believe what all we have done in 8 weeks with our little boy I never want to forget these special times-

Welcome Home Cameron- 

Mommy was a bit emotional, not that I wasn't beyond excited to have you home, but my entire life changed  (FOR THE BETTER) in a blink of an eye.  Don't worry I wasn't emotional for long.

Sleeping with Aunt Shelly your first day home

She came to visit you everyday for 4 weeks and just loves you so much- we are so lucky to have her right around the corner...as of July!

 First Doctors Appointment 

(Driving over mommy and daddy talked about our precious cargo- I think daddy drove under the speed limit the whole way. We promised to never text and drive with our little angel in the car)

First trip to Nana's- 7 days old

You were such a good boy and loved being outside (who wouldn't with this view)- Nana loved having you and mommy enjoyed having a change of scenery

They have already began spoiling you with precious clothes and unconditional love

First Fourth Of July

This was the first time mommy had ever not been at the beach on the 4th her WHOLE life (29 years)- Like I said before a life changer- you were far to little to risk traveling with on such a busy week. We took you to our neighborhood parade that morning and had visitors all afternoon- it turned out to be just perfect.

Special Times with PaPa Bill

He travels during the week so we have to make up for it on the weekends- He loves you so much and loves giving you a bottle.

Fun Weekend Visit with Trent and Lauren

Trent and Lauren ended their vacation a day early to pack up and head to Charlotte to meet Cameron. Lauren was so sweet and stayed up very late rocking and loving on you. We loved having them as well as Grandma Bunny and Grandaddy Mike (not sure what my dad is going to be called yet)

These are just a few of the precious times we have had thus far with Cameron- can't wait to share many more xo

Elisabeth Meets Cameron

My best friend Elisabeth moved to Chattanooga, TN in June to be with her sweet finance Dave, who are getting married next June.  Saying we miss her is an understatement- from the time I have known Elisabeth we have always been in the same city- Needless to say I was thrilled to have her back in town to meet Cameron for his One Month Birthday.

One Month

Time flies when you are having fun and not sleeping!

Welcome Cameron Dax

On Tuesday, June 19th- after working a full day I began having contractions around 7:30 pm- they lasted throughout the evening getting closer and closer together as time passed....around 1:30 am we arrived to Presbyterian Hospital not knowing what to expect!  After arriving, they confirmed I was in active labor...we were so pumped...BUT...I hadn't dilated much so they want me to walk for an hour to get things started.  Not the way I thought my labor would begin (walking the maternity floor of Presby at 3am) but it WORKED (after 2 hours of walking)  Around 6:30 am we got checked into our labor and delivery room and soon after that I got my epidural...what a blessing. I progressed throughout the day- enjoying my sweet family and passing time....as most of you all know, Dax and I decided to not find out the gender!

At 3:39pm...ITS A BOY!!!! Cameron Dax Vandevere arrived in style screaming weighing 7 pounds 7 ounces and just melted our hearts.  A moment I will never forget...he is here and is perfect. What a little miracle xoxo
