Pool Fun and 8 months

We went swimming with Aunt Shelly at Ballantyne Resort- you LOVED it!

You turned 8 months- such a happy boy after bath so mommy decided to do something new for this month!

At 8 months-

  • Sleeping all night (most of the time...)
  • Loving food- tried mixed vegetables and yogurt for the first time
  • Talking and yelling up a storm (saying bye bye)
  • Love bath time still
  • Love rocking back and forth sitting up- showing off your balance.  Also shaking your head back and forth with a toy in hand.
  • Love peek a boo and the dogs- your eyes light up when Tillery walks in the room
  • Teeth might be coming soon...red gums and long nights

We love you so much, Cameron! Time is just flying by xoxo

Lately

My dad and I took Cameron to WV a few weeks ago to visit Nan Nan and Paw Paw- it always melts my hart to see the joy in their eyes when Cameron arrives, he is such a good dose of medicine for both of them. As most of you know my Paw Paw has Alzheimer's, a disease that is so tough to watch someone you love go through.  However seeing him light up and interact with Cameron makes me wish we could go every weekend.  We sure enjoyed our time with them- we made Valentine cupcakes, we played (even at 6am) and Cameron loved Nan Nan reading to him.

Priceless

Cameron had his first Valentine's Day

Aunt Ann and Aunt Honey came in town from the beach for a girls weeeknd! We went wedding dress shopping for Michelle- and she said YES to the DRESS!  She is going to be a beautiful bride, can't wait for August to be here.  That same day it snowed, we celebrated Scott's first birthday and had a sleepover at Aunt Shelly's!

Happy Birthday sweet Boy! We love you

7 months!

They say time flies when you are having fun and I guess they are right! I cannot believe our little angel is 7 months old.  Dax and I were actually on vacation with Michelle and Glenn when Cameron turned 7 months, but thanks to technology we were able to see him on his special day.  We were so lucky to be able to sneak away, a much needed break for us.  Cameron was left in great hands...Grandma Bunny came to Charlotte] and loved every minute with her grand baby! He had lots of visitors (Nana, Papa Bill, Aunt Jane, Aunt Lane, Aunt Honey, Uncle Mike, Aunt Nell, Uncle David, Aunt Kathryn and Uncle David Spencer) and when we returned he was saying "bye bye bye"

Cameron you are the apple of our eye- such a happy baby boy that always has a smile.  You love baby food (sweet potatoes, apples, bananas, pears butternut squash and cereal) Carrots and peas are not your favorite but we are working on those;)  You are sitting up like a big boy and must have a toy in hand at all times! You recently learned to play peak a boo and give kisses (open mouth).  You aren't a big napper but sleep great at night (7:30-7:30....finally...mommy feels herself again...please keep this up)

You look just like MOMMY!!! Yeah right

Happy 7 months Cameron xoxo

Cameron's Baptism

As soon as Cameron was born, I began thinking about his christening day and how special it would be to dedicate him to the Lord and have him begin his journey of faith. Cameron may you always follow the Lord wherever he may lead you and find peace knowing you are loved by him.

What a special weekend it was- Honey/Mike, Ann/John and Aunt Nell traveled to Charlotte on Saturday, October 13th.  Friday- mommy and daddy made cross cookies together at 11 pm- daddy looked at me like I was crazy... but I wanted it to be perfect- after all it was for my little boy's christening day. Saturday we grilled out and Honey and Grandma Bunny helped mommy put together the favors.

You wore Bumpa's christening gown which is over a 100 years old
A family treasure
